Okay, I know I am a little lame and behind.... BUT, I vow to start catching up this second (Saturday 5:28am)...
YES, I am one on those moms that was enthralled, engrossed... okay, maybe even consumed with the torrid (is that even a word?? K, maybe not exactly what I mean, but it sounded good...) love affair between vampire Edward and normal gal Bella... aka: Twilight. My awesome, also "consumed" friend Candis counted down the days till the movie came out and threw an awesome bash for us:
Our lovely dinner: notice the platter of apples in the middle(my favorite touch!!) Our course consisted of ravioli and Coke.... a must have "first dinner" for any Twilight fan!
Hanging out playing Twilight trivia games before heading to the theater.
At the theater...eagerly awaiting 12:01 am!! (Look at end seat, and count up 4...there I am sitting by my friend Bobby)
Okay, I LOVED the movie....maybe some of you that re-read the book right before weren't as impressed,; but, I've only read all four books once and I loved it!! Some of the cheesy parts were a little over the top, but, for the most part, I would give it a thumbs up....maybe it's because I love teenager movies?? Anyway, I am hoping to go see it again next Friday. YAY Christina!! I'm glad you want to go see it!!

The dinner looks so fun, what a great idea to serve ravioli and coke. Looks like you had a great time. I didn't go with our book crowd either. I missed ya anyway! I love teenage books and movies too!
Haha! You know I loved it! I was just hoping to see MY version of Edward, which, quite honestly, cannot be recreated in human form :)
Can't wait for Friday! Yay!
So...you'll go to a Friday night movie with Candis but you're too tired to go with me and Laura huh?? Jerk! ...here's to hoping you fall asleep during the opening credits! :) he he he....
I'm glad to see you're back! And that you're managing to have some fun. I haven't jumped on the Twilight bandwagon, despite my sister's best attempts to get me hooked. I just haven't had the time. But as soon as they hit the library (and I get Christmas done, and get moved in, and get the rental house cleaned, and potty train Zach, and finish this scrapbook designer contest...), I'm so there!
Glad you had a fun time! I did too! I liked the movie... but then, as I kept thinking about it... it turned into "I REALLY liked the movie". Can't wait for the next installment.
